After not doing any weight training for 2 weeks and cutting back on my food again, I have dropped 3lbs+ (1.5Kg) in weight which takes me legitimately to 102Kg which works out at 16st. I've lost all the weight I intended too when I first started this venture. Unfortunately I started from a heavier weight than I originally thought, so I still have at least another 1st (6Kg) to lose. I want to lose it by the end of January, even after accounting for Christmas.
It's a shame I have a weekend in Manchester (Sex Pistols in concert - no really!) and a handful of parties between now and then - it's going to be tough but if I stay off the weights and get in three training sessions a week, then I should make it. It's about the same time that I expect to move out on to the track on a permanent basis.
Final word this time is to mention Shak, who has offered to be my training partner in the gym and on the track. We try out next week to see how it goes ...
