There's been one referee who has been an almost constant companion throughout this blog and his adventures out on the green stuff have often reflected my own. In fact after one particularly bad game he gave me one piece of advice and it was as simple as it was forthright.
It was Fuck 'em!!! and was to be directed at anyone who criticised my refereeing. I've used it often and it's been very useful when the usual sideline wags start spewing their know-nowt comments. He asked me to train with him tomorrow and I refused being in a little rest period known commonly as pigging out for Christmas! So fat lad, we'll pick up training after the festivities have concluded. Have a good 'un!
