As usual I have managed to ruin my boots by stepping on the point where the manufacturers have chosen to have a join between the upper and sole close to the ball of my foot.
It's how I have wrecked the last three pairs of boots while "crabbing" down the line. So I treated myself to a new pair in time for the WRCFA game on Sunday. They fit like carpet slippers and at less than £30 they are good value.
Let's hope this pair lasts a bit longer than the 5 months of action the last pair managed
