Quiet ...

With going away with my family for a few days I haven't trained since Wednesday.

We went to Drayton Manor near Tamworth and underestimated the determination of the local insects to eat me alive. As a result I have between 25-35 bites on both shins ... not pretty! Next time I'll not set up camp near trees or surface water.

Since we got back I have finalised my presentation based on my observations (July 26/27) of the latest Basic Course for New Referees. I delivered the presentation to my local RA tonight and it was well received. I sought feedback from a few colleagues and they thought I did a good job. Time to wind down now towards the Leeds Festival - travelling on Thursday!!!

Oh I should mention that my son passed three a-levels, I am now another year older following my birthday on Friday and I celebrated my wedding anniversary on Saturday so it's been a busy few days.
