Busy day on the telephone today as my County Cup game scheduled for October 4th has been brought forward to September 30th.

This gave me a free date and my Supply League wasted no time in appointing me to a free fixture, however the County have claimed me for another game on that day so I now have two fixtures in the same round of the same competition.

During the same telephone conversation with Mr Steve, we made travelling arrangement for my FA Registered Instructor's Course which is being held over two Sundays at the beginning of October. He also asked me to take on a local appointment in the First Qualifying Round of the FA Women's Cup. I had a Second Qualifying Round last year and enjoyed the game. The bonus on this one is that Fat Lad is going to be on my line!

Finally at the District FA meeting last night I put myself forward to represent the District on the County FA Council. Two other candidates volunteered at the same time, one being Jaybee and the other being the RA President but there's only two free positions. I don't think I stand a chance when it comes to the ballot. Maybe I'll get another opportunity at some point in the future if either decide to retire from their post, but for now my plan to take over world football has been stalled!!!
