For someone who still regards himself as very much one of the boys (admittedly fatter, balder and older) it seemed a little weird to be one of the establishment figures at last night's meeting of the LUFC Academy match officials and coaches.
It was a good night and it was nice to see so many talented and committed young referees in one room. Now if only some of them could improve their dress sense ... ha ha !
P.S. I found out that my scores averaged 87.5 for last Saturday's game - nice!
