Well it did with a vengeance today and despite the assurances during the pre-match call last night, I was told this evening that the groundsman at the home field for Saturday's game has closed the field.
This of course means that the game if off. I phoned the Appointments Secretary but I suspect a few more games will have already fallen foul of the weather and he'll have plenty of spare officials.
Now if only it could have saved the snow for another 3 weeks ...
At least it means I have more time to practice for Sunday. I hope the weather doesn't disrupt the outside sessions too much!
