Oi Baldy was going to be offline for a few days due to an unfortunate accident. I was having problems with my 'puter power supply and accidently flipped the voltage control which blew the power pack. There wasn't quite enough smoke to set off the smoke alarm but it didn't half smell bad!
Had a game last night. In brief... 5-1 to home team who collected 5 cautions, all for C1. Away team lost a player for DOGSO and had another cautioned for C1. Very little happened in terms of cautions until the dismissal and some late substitutions. When I first started refereeing back in 2000, I never used to believe those who said the referee's awareness needed raising when substitutes came into play and even though I raised my game last night, it was a torrid last 20 minutes or so. Calories 1586 max hr 95% average 83%.
Roll on Saturday and my first line since the end of November. Someone else can take the strain!
