Not the 80s ska band making a comeback but the Health & Safety policy of my local council.

I have a multipass, so called because it allows me to use the facilities at each of their 8-10 sport centres, 3-4 swimming pools and their running track. Very useful if your "home" sports centre is too far to drive to if you fancy a lunch time run on a treadmill. You'd think so wouldn't you? Well not with my council ... apparently I have to have an induction each time I want to use a gym at a new site. So we all have the opportunity to arrange an induction in our lunch hour and be walked through how each piece of equipment works? No, me neither.

As a direct consequence of this inflexible policy and their failure to have the running track open to the public on the days advertised, they will be £34.95 worse off each month.
