Training 2.13

From a secret location somewhere in the centre of England our undercover reporter brings us this news ...

You know when you see a name in print, a big name, a name that evokes memories of days gone by and you wonder, if I met that person what would they be like? Well yesterday I met someone I saw at a FAMOA event around 4 years ago at Elland Road, Leeds (home of my beloved Leeds United), another a referee who always seemed to have the personality to dominate a field/gain the respect of all participants and finally another who is still a legend within their sphere of influence.

So when two of these people turn up to the relatively low key training you've agreed with other delegates (I'm on a course by the way), you think they'll be as understanding as they appeared on the tv/in the classroom and, dare I mention it, in the bar the previous evening ... not a chance!

In honesty , it was an honour to train with these guys. They did a similar warmup/warmdown to the ones I've completed with Chuckle. The session we did, centre mark to each corner in turn as well as each side of the halfway line. The boss planned to do two spirals and rest but we were looking sooo good, that we got a rest after one rep. We still repeated the exercise 4 times but only worked for around 40 minutes in total and I suspect we will work harder each morning.

Even so, this was a special day ... 656 calories (in 40 minutes!), 111% max, 82% average. Hard work ...
