Just written up all my games from this season and I'm pleased to find that I have enough games for a new kit for new season!
With regard to no surprises I checked the number of games I had done before getting injured. I found that I'd been in the gum 5 times, in the middle refereeing 7 times, had 2 games on the line and did half of a charity game in the space of 20 days, so I guess I just did too much. I think next season I'll skip on the four game weekends and ensure I get some proper rest between games.
I'm now off to get ready for my wife's birthday party - barbecue anyone? Must remember to take it easy on the vino as I need to be ready for tomorrow!
