1st stage complete - Instructor's Course

I managed to deliver my topic of Managing a Corner Kick successfully and got some really good feedback. I felt very self conscious at the time because of the experience of the "candidates" I was delivering to, however they went easy on me.

My developmental feedback was based on my giving excessively practical advice in preference to the letter of the law. It's a fair comment and it's just like teaching people how to drive but forgetting to instruct them for the purposes of passing their test rather than surviving on the roads after the test has been passed.

The next stage is to deliver on another topic and be assessed on that to ensure I'm achieving the desired standard. Do that and I become a Registered Referee Instructor and add another string to my bow that will keep me involved in refereeing once my knees finally give up!
