My phone rang around 10:30 and it was today's match referee or rather his replacement. He confirmed I was ok for the game, apologised for the late contact and let me know that the weather (it has been raining heavily where I live for over 12 hours) was threatening to have the game postponed.
The phone rang 20 minutes later and this time it was the club advising that the field was unplayable. The referee rang moments later to confirm the same. So I've lost my fourth game in 2 weeks to the weather. I'm not happy ...
