I received e-mail confirmation from Steve Rhodes at WRCFA that Alan Wilkie, Regional Manager, had confirmed my appointment as a FA Registered Assessor based on the assessments I have completed to date.
This means I have to be ready with clipboard, pen and dictaphone for more matches next season. Standing in the wind and rain helping support the development of other referees isn't as much fun as being out there in the middle or on the line with a flag in my hand, but it's still being involved. It also gives my weary joints a few extra days rest each season!
Roll on 2008-09!
