Brief note as the training gang are heading out for a celebratory beer tonight.
On June 9 we did a speed endurance session of 8x150m runs followed by a ten minute rest then another 8x150m runs. Tonight I repeated that session, this time I managed to run every metre of every run and my times averaged 40-45 seconds each time. I was working on my own as Zico (look I said ZICO), Fat Lad, CE and J-C all did some sprinting practice. They looked to have worked hard.
I burned 799 calories in a 50 minute session (including warm-up, workout, warm-down and static stretches). My heart rate maxed at 116% of my theoretical maximum and I averaged 82%. Hard work but I enjoyed competing against my own times. Time for a night out now!!!
