Dietitian

I've gotten fed up of being accused of being fat. I weigh in at a little under 106Kg (16st10lb) and despite my best efforts training and trying to restrict my food/alcohol intake, I haven't lost a single ounce in 6 months (even after all the training sessions)!

I therefore got my doctor to refer me to a dietitian and I spent a pleasant hour or so in the company of a very young looking person this afternoon. She noted all my food intake and range of diet and concluded that if I stopped snacking on processed meats (not always wrapped in pastry aka sausage rolls), cut back on my chocolate bars (used to bridge the gap between early breakfast and late lunch) and increase my fibre intake, then I should be able to lose 1-2 pounds per week.

All her advice was practical and I'll try to stick to it but I can't help feeling disappointed that even training/refereeing each week, burning up to 6000 calories a week and I can't sneak the occasional choccy bar!!!
