Last night ...

I had a run out with Gav and Jamie at the County FA.

Jamie asked me if I fancied helping with a trial game for the County's new U18 team. The game was split into thirds each lasting 30 minutes. I was on the line for the first two and then went in the middle for the last period.

I really enjoyed the run out but was nervous about the tweak I picked up last week on my course. I need not have worried as things went ok. Fat Lad was at a meeting at the County HQ and during a break I heard him shouting to keep up with play!

In the first period my hrm wasn't working properly and I hit a max of 115% and an average of 75% (Calories 510). In the second period the hrm settled down and I maxed at 87% with an average of 76& (Calories 425). In the final period, I hit a max of 95% and an average of 86% (Calories 510). So total calories came to 1445.

After the game I bumped into the County Training Officer and was invited to help facilitate one of the groups at Next Tuesday's Supply League Assistants evening - so feeling very valued!
