A game between an established local side and a newish one rising from the ashes (phoenix like???) of a fall out with a pub's first team. An all too familiar story in local parks football and this one was no exception.
Not for me the politics of football and teams, I just wanted to get some match practice in. I got plenty of opportunities to manage situations, run around the field and try out some other little things I've been working on over the close season ... fitness!!!
The game finished 5-2 to the home side after they had fallen 2-0 after just 20 minutes. I had to bring out the cards for a little spat which occurred near the end of the game and issued a caution apiece. 1513 calories burned, 90% max 77% average.
