I’m in the middle of my little self imposed break from training and football (ok my wife imposed it so we could go to our friend’s wedding on Saturday) and I’ve found myself watching more football on tv than usual.
Having enjoyed some of Tranmere vs. Stockport the other night, I’m now enduring enjoying England’s last World Cup qualifying game for South Africa 2010 where they are playing Belarus at Wembley.
After 66 minutes England have laboured to a 2-0 lead and have just introduced their talismanic former captain, David Beckham. In fact the second goal came indirectly from his cross from his first corner kick. The first came from a predatory pounce in the 3rd minute by Peter Crouch

3-0 now with Peter Crouch picking up Carlton Cole’s rebound …
