Keeping out of mischief

I spent Saturday afternoon outside the perimeter fence instead on the inside as I gave up my time assessing a local promotion candidate. It was absolutely freezing and I regretted not popping on an extra t-shirt or fleece under my coat to trap a little more heat.

On Sunday I spent much of the 90 minutes (assessing another local promotion candidate's performance) trying to keep my notes dry as the heavens opened. This time I had the extra t-shirt and fleece, so keeping warm wasn't an issue. I had to start a new sheet for my notes in the second half and had to dry them out on my dashboard on the way home.

For both referees it was good to see how both have developed since I last saw them referee. I had some development areas and strengths for both and I hope they are happy with their assessments.

I have offered my services again this Sunday as I don't think I'll be ready to return to action. Likewise I spoke to the Appointments Secretary of my Supply League to let them know, that I'm still injured.
