Season's Greetings

Before making my way south to spend Christmas with my in-laws I made arrangements to begin my development as a Supply League Assessor.

The original plan to accompany David to a Contributory League game fell victim to the weather and instead he arranged an introduction to my current Supply League's Assessor Co-ordinator. As a result I have been assigned a mentor who will accompany me to games where I will conduct assessments of the referee's performance.

I am hoping that my assessments meet the required standards and that the league feel able to allow me to operate solo before the end of the season. I've offered a range of dates from mid January and hope to hit the road sooner rather than later.

This is likely to be the last post of the year, so I'll take the opportunity of wishing everyone Happy New Year. May it bring you everything you wish for ...
