After the incident following Wednesday's training I noticed a pain in my left calf. On looking at my leg I saw a red track, 2 cm wide and 12-15 cm long - it was time to seek medical advice!!!
Dr R saw me virtually straight away and confirmed I had mild blood poisoning. I was put on a course of antibiotics to deal with the infection and antihistamines to combat the swelling.
